According to the Coconino National Forest, due to the popularity of the C.C. Cragin Reservoir for fishing, canoeing and kayaking, vehicle access to the reservoir will be managed over the weekend to ensure public safety. Beginning this holiday weekend, according to a Service release, Forest Service personnel will be positioned at the boat launch and at the junction with the Rock Crossing Campground.
Once the maximum capacity of 45 vehicles has been reached, vehicles will not be allowed to the parking area or boat ramp. Once traffic is stopped, one vehicle will be allowed in for every vehicle leaving.
