L-R Florence Arizona residents Mike Johnson, Anthony Johnson, Dwight Adkinson and Carter Adkinson with the fish they caught last Saturday night on Lake Mead.

Lake Mead Don M.: As the moon phase goes back towards the darker phase I expect the striper and channel catfishing at night to get only better!

I suggest that folks use submersible green lights ( I use HydroGlow lights exclusively) to attract the phytoplankton and the zooplankton and the stripers and catfish will follow. Use 1- to 2-inch pieces of cut up frozen anchovies for bait.

Keep the anchovies frozen by using wrapped dry ice on top of them.

Mike Johnson holds a Lake Mead striper.

Anthony Johnson holds a good Lake Mead channel cat.
