Surprise Lake Grayson S.: I used a small, green sunfish swimbait. Put up a great fight and almost came off due to fray in the line. I tried to get him for about an hour then I finally saw him bite it and then i got him. He was by a bunch of rocks where there were many many small bluegill and sunfish. The water was very clear and as you can see in the water in the picture, there is another bass hanging out in the dip. Thank you!

Lake Pleasant

  • John S.: Great day on Lake Pleasant (May 10)! Here’s a nice bass taken recently by John S. at Lake Pleasant using a swim bait.

  • Stan F.:  One of two “Hogs” recently caught by Stan F. on a top-water crank bait at Lake Pleasant.

  • Mike Stroel, Professional Fishing Guide, Lake Pleasant May 6 Fishing Report. Clients have been catching nice stripers like these on A Rigs and cut anchovies on modified dropshot rigs in 20 to 60 feet of water.

Bartlett Lake Jason W.: Hooked up with a 3.5 lb largemouth at Bartlett Lake, 5/9/19, dropshot, 5150 plastics, 4-inch midnight craw curl-tail.
